2KW On-Grid Solar Panel

Why Choose a 2kW On-Grid Solar System in Coimbatore?

A 2kW on-grid solar system is the ideal setup for medium-sized households looking to lower their monthly electricity bills. Generating approximately 8 to 10 units of power each day, this setup easily meets standard residential consumption needs. By connecting directly to the TANGEDCO utility grid, you can export surplus energy via net metering, ensuring zero waste and maximum savings. If your energy demands grow over time, upgrading to a larger 3kW on-grid solar system is a straightforward next step.

Space Requirements and Installation

Installing a 2kW solar panel setup requires roughly 130 to 150 square feet of shadow-free roof area. Our expert solar panel installers in Coimbatore conduct a detailed site assessment to ensure optimal panel placement. High-efficiency mono-bifacial panels from Adani and Vikram Solar deliver peak performance even in fluctuating weather conditions. Are you curious about how much space you have? Government Subsidy and Pricing

Transitioning to solar is highly affordable with the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana scheme. For a 2kW system, eligible homeowners may receive up to approximately ₹60,000 as a direct central government subsidy, subject to DISCOM approval. As MNRE-approved vendors, RK Solars handles the complete application and TANGEDCO net metering process on your behalf. The On-Grid Advantage

Opting for an on-grid solution means you never have to worry about battery maintenance or replacement costs. The grid itself acts as your virtual battery. During the day, your panels power your home and any excess is exported to the grid. At night, you draw power back at net metering rates.
